Now Hiring: RN Registered Nurse

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily documentation of resident care, status, and changes in condition accurately and completely in compliance with facility policy and regulations.
  • Transcribe physicians’ orders to MARs (Medication Administration Records) and ensure timely and accurate implementation.
  • Notify pharmacy of new or changes to orders promptly.
  • Prepare and safely administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
  • Monitor and assess residents' physical and emotional well-being and report any significant changes to the Director of Nursing and physician.
  • Supervise CNAs and LPNs on the assigned unit and ensure high standards of care are maintained.
  • Educate residents and their families on health maintenance and disease management.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of personalized care plans.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or designee.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold an unencumbered & active license as a RN Registered Nurse within the state of Wisconsin.
  • Current CPR certification is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility is a plus, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply!
  • A true passion for geriatric care and a commitment to patient advocacy.
